"Compassion is contagious. For every Jane cosmetics sold, Jane will donate one equal beauty product to a local woman’s shelter to give the gift of confidence. Buy-One, Give-One To A Neighbor In Need.”

First off I don’t know why all the information say it’s a liquid liner. It’s a mechanical pencil liner. I guess it’s very soft so it’s like a “liquid” pencil. It comes in 20 different shades from matte, shimmers, and sparkle.
I have the shades:
  • Gold: Medium gilded gold
  • Moss: Golden olive green
  • Purple Lilac: violet fuchsia with a slight blue reflect
  • (photo above shows no flash / flash in sunlight)
Jane claims: “Long-wearing, water-resistant liquid formula won’t smudge or budge. Luxurious, ultra soft texture makes blending a breeze. Made with antioxidant-rich vitamin E.”

If you own Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner these are very similar! I’ve said this a few times but Stila Smudge Sticks are some of my favorite liners for the water line. So I’m loving these since it has a wider range and a cheaper price.
The formula is really soft. It goes on without much pressure, perfect for the waterline. I like these for the lash line too. These ones are not as “smudgy” as Stila but you can smudge them. Stila you can apply to each eye then smudge because you have some play time before they set. These ones dry faster so do one eye at a time if you want to smudge it out.
When testing these out I was impressed with how they wore. After 5 hours I started to see some fading on my waterline. I do have watery eyes so I’m impressed. The liner on my water line just migrated to my lashes if that makes sense. It didn’t fall into my lash line but the color was still visible cause it was near my lashes as opposed all over the water line. I also tested it on my lash line. After 8 hours my lash line still had color. The color had faded a bit but I had minimal smudge and it was still quite vibrant. I only received shimmery ones, so I’m not 100% how the matte ones would wear.
  • Would you re-buy this product? Yes.
  • How many stars? 4 out of 5
  • Who would you recommend this product for? Anyone looking for a cheap pencil liner.
  • Price? $6 (Khol’s and Jane’s website)
  • Last Comments? I love these. I like them more than my Stila ones. These ones aren’t as smudge-y which I like. They lasted really well and have a wide range. They have a rose gold shade I’m dying to get my hands on.
Have you tried Jane Water-Resistant Eye Liner? Thoughts?
