Review:
The EverPure Cleansing Balm is pretty good. It does exactly what it claims. My hair was clean, conditioned, soft, detangled, super shiny, and treated. At the end of the day my hair felt heavy. It wasn’t dirty, minimal oil was there. I just felt like I needed to wash my hair. I find that products that soften often give my hair an odd texture. My hair is very fine and soft already. Product that add softener make my hair feel like it has product in it. The detangling was great while my hair was wet, but as soon as it dried from all the product (detangled, shine, treatment, and softener) my hair was a bit more prone to get knotted up. Out of habit I still put some form of treatment in my hair while damp. When I used an oil my hair got more detangled, when I used a lotion like treatment (It’s a 10) I didn’t experience that. So as I continue to use it I will not use any oils so that my hair stays manageable!
I have a love hate relationship with this product. It does everything it claims but it doesn’t look like the right product for me! I will continue to use it on days I will be staying at home, going on a hike, or running errands. It makes taking a shower super quick and easy. I didn’t have time to use my leave on exfoliator and shave because it’s such an hop in and then out product. I think if you’re going on a trip, looking for something to use at the gym, etc.. this could be a great product!
- Would you re-buy this product? Maybe.
- How many stars? 2.5 out of 5
- Who would I recommend this for? Anyone looking for a quick hair routine.
- Last Comments? Overall it’s not a horrible product. like that the claims are true. It has the classic “Ever” line scent of rosemary and mint which is super refreshing!
Have you tried anything from the L’Oreal hair line? Thoughts?
