Hot Mama: "An all-in-one essential, this smart shadow, beautiful blush and subtle highlighter is tucked inside a go-anywhere compact. This pinky-peach hue adds a splash of color to your cheeks and a hint of shimmer to your lids, while illuminating your finest features."
Bahama Mama: "Finally, a Caribbean getaway in a compact! This matte bronzer creates the look of beautifully tanned skin without any orange undertones for a fresh-off-the-beach glow. Bahama Mama also doubles as the perfect contour powder and matte brown eyeshadow. Yes, this tropical beauty keeps busy!”
theBalm makes great powder products. They all are very pigmented and blend like a dream. Mary Lou-Manizer is a silky highlighter / shadow. It’s a light gold and works on all skin tones. As you can see from the swatches the base is fairly deep but once blended out you don’t see it. I (nc10) love it as does my sister (nw10). It’s one of my favorite highlights. It gives a lovely strong glow to the cheekbones. This isn’t subtle highlight friendly, it gives you a highlight with a punch! Hot Mama is a classic blush shade. It’s a typical peachy-pink with a gold sheen. In the heavy swatch you can see the shine more. When blended out it’s still there but not as highlighter looking more of a sheen. This is not a dupe for Nars Orgasm btw. It’s a more shimmery/sheen version of Nars Deep Throat. Bahama Mama is such a gorgeous, multi-purpose product! It can be used as a bronzer or contour. It’s so odd because as a bronzer it’s very natural. It never looks muddy. It blends out so perfectly you almost don’t realize how much you have on. (I’ve made that mistake). But even with a lot on it doesn’t look orange. Then really pack on the color in a concentrated area and it has this ashy tone which is perfect for contouring. I don’t know how it can be so warm but ashy in the right places. It’s quite neutral so it gives it the perfect balance of warmth when blown out and cool when concentrated.

Last Comments? I love these products. Mary Lou is my favorite highlight. Bahama Mama is the perfect shade to warm up the complexion or contour. Hot Mama is probably my least used because it’s so similar to Deep Throat.
